Hello nice people
i've noticed 2 problems so far with the latest VIX image it seems that device manager is crashing my box (see log) it seems that my uploads don't work either (25 mins and still not finished)
and the channel names on the cool epg are almost abliterated, well i can hardly see 'em :nono:
oh and off subject these bleedin' smilies are still going to the start of the post i'm having to cut and paste them in the right place

Cant see your crash log lol!
Can you post screenshots?
What browser are you using?
Only canthackit would have problems that no-one else seems to have :p
As Sic says, take some screenshots (telnet in to the box, and type "grab -d -p /tmp/filename.png), and upload them, and upload the crashlog :p

fdisk -l /dev/sd? | grep /dev/sd | grep -v bytes

thats what it should get, the error you got was failed to get the results, strange
The device manager crash has been cured for me, not getting it at all anymore.
I had the device manager crash when I had internal HD, external HD and a usb pen drive all in fstab.
Have since removed my external drive and all is fine (don't think I'll bother using the external HD to be honest)
Regarding the channel names in the EPG using the menu you can change font size for text and the amount of space for the cnannel name. I made all mine fit nicely
