Is there a way that channels can be changed/zapped as soon as the channel is input for example 143..instant zap to bbc hd? Currently there is a about a few seconds delay or you have to press the ok button which is quite boring?

I asked this question a few months ago and was rebuffed, was told it was there for old people with slow reactions.

Yes, press the OK button. Should suit young people with fast reactions?

so no way of changing a setting to make it work? Any chance it can be implemented in vix?

We are not in favour of making extra settings again, especially not when there is a good way to work.
Any idea how many settings in how many menu's we already have?

Surely pressing OK after entering your channel number isn't that hard?

I'm middle aged and sometimes hit the wrong number. The delay allows me to press exit before before the zap can happen. Personally like it as is. Should see me to old age;-)

I also would like a instant zap after a 3 digit number is added.

Then press 'OK' after the last digit.
Some users have less then 100 services, some have 9000.

The delay was added upon request from users who had elderly family members who were not able to enter the channel number quickly, as rob says just press the ok button once you have entered the channel number and it will fast zap to that channel.

In my opinion its fine the way it is, is it so difficult to press 1 more button after the number you want ???

I'm not complaining, just would like to say if it isn't that hard to add an option in the settings to turn a feature like this on it would be great.

And that option should allow for instant zap after entering one digit (for people with a small service list)? Or two? Or three? Or four, as would be needed in my case.

No really: we do have enough user settings as it is.

Pressing OK after the number makes the chanenl zap instantly.

I guess you could have an option that would 'Instant Zap after' 1, 2, 3 or 4 digits, and give the end user the choice - although I'm happy with it as it is.
