View Full Version : What's involved in mounting a JFS formatted USB drive under openPLI?

I'm trying to mount a disc I formatted and used on a different box on my Duo to access the files there.
There is a bit of doubt as to exactly what the file system on the disc is, but the best guess at this stage is JFS, the reasons being that I'm SURE I selected a journalled format, it won't mount as ext3, and I see from the /proc/filesystems listing that jfs isn't supported on the image I have.

That being the case, is there a simple way of adding jfs support?

What's not an option:
Mounting the disc on another Linux system - I don't have one.

What's not really a starter:
Using an image other than the openPLI that shipped on my box - I'm not wanting to mess too much with it, and the supplier strongly recommended against doing so.

What'll do something, but not what I want:
Reformat the disc and forget about the files on there.

Any ideas?
