software update

hi all
i have noticed when i check to see if there is a software update available i get an on screen dialog box with the message:
" a background update check is in progress, please wait a few minutes and try again"
the message then times out and disappears.
i have had this occurring on several image builds that i have tried (currently on 3.0.600).
the only way that i have been able to update the s/w when i get this background check message is to do a fresh update with usb stick.
anyone else had this?

have you tried again 5 minutes later? or even longer?
600 is the current latest build available, so nothing to update yet.

yes thanks judge i have indeed tried after many minutes and reboots etc.
i have had the same issue with upgrades since i got the box just after xmas.
it is just a bit of a niggle but doesnt really take away the advantages of the solo2.
maybe i should post in the vix image discussion forum?
