Hi,
first of all here is the latest Plugin. You install it like this:
1. copy file with FTP to the box in /tmp
2. connect with telnet with the box
3. enter the following commands:
cd /tmp
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-lcd4linux_2.9-r2_mips32el.ipk

Now you must restart your box and LCD4Linux is installed. LCD4Linux worked for me with OpenViX3.x for a long time but at the moment I have disabled it. If you have further questions please feel free to ask.

@judge,
I do not think that it will help you much because it needs an external LCD display to show its work. It is a bit like the internal display of the next VU+ DUO2 but with an external display. You can show channel name, running program, picon, weather, email, CCcam info and a lot more on this display. It was quite well known in Germany because a rather big store which sells bits and pieces offered a useable display for only €2.9 and a lot of people bought at least one.

ciao

you can get all of the latest public release images from www.openvix.co.uk and no build 600 is not a beta build.
