Spiderbox 900HD Help !

Please could someone help , i have purchased the spiderbox 900HD and had it installed , the problem is i am a real newbie to all of this....
I purchased it from an online shop .
When it was deliverd there were no instruction on 'The Gift'
1. What exactly is 'The Gift' ( i have no idea or if its even on my box)
I rang up the shop where i purchased it and they cant talk about it over the phone at all.

The system is now installed but i get nothing of any real use for free.

I followed an idiot guide to install a patch etc etc , but still i got nothing..

Please some one help i am pulling my hair out.

gift is a share from someplace,,,to get it press 1111 on remote standing on network(when key edit appears over network) the hidden menu is open.
now go in to network and set it to on,,,go down to nuevoxtreme/service+ set them also to on and register them,,,if its a new box sold after aug 2010 you might only have service+.
when it says connected ,you should have picture,,pressing info twice shows what the channel is opend by.
to get the gift channels you need to be connected with a networkcable from box to router.
what idiot guide did you follow???
