Bugger, forgot to bring the usb dvd burner back from work... Will have to try and remember for tomorrow...

Personally though, as long as the recording isn't HD, I found it easier to just ftp the file over to the pc, edit it on the pc, and it woud burn straight to dvd without need for conversion... So worked fine :D (although will give it a try re doing it directly on the box...)

Yes, I know I can copy the file to my PC but I still havent't found a decent software that can burn the video files from the VU+ box without too much hazzle... (under Linux).

btw, this latest bug is a skin problem; changed to a different skin and then I could start the plugin... But when trying to burn a dvd, it stops almost instantly with an error saying just "Error python-imaging" (something like that..)
