Just received a phone call from home to be told that one of my "male" Greenwing macaws ( bob and max ) has just laid a egg.

hmm looks like i'm gona be investing in some incubation kit for the future then as hand reared Greenwings can go for any thing up to £2000 each.

We had a love bird for years I was convinced was a male untill it laid an egg.

yeah i have been meaning to get them DNA sexed for a few years just never gotten around to it, I have had these two for 5 and 6 years and there inseparable now. I also have a African Grey too, he was part of a pair but his mate died a few years back. had a few other exotics over the years like amazons and conyer's etc.
