View Full Version : make own plugin server
Hello i wounder if there is any way to make a own feed on a computer so that the duo can get plugin on a list and only for home use
kind regards
There is yes although i'm not 100 percent sure of the exact steps needed to do it.
All feeds go into /etc/opkg/ on your receiver.
i know that but how to make a feed file that gets the plugins thats dont exist on the other feed servers.
i refer you to my above post.
You could save them in a directory on hdd or usb.
Then when in backup manager, press menu & then blue button to set the directory.
This way, they will always be available in IPK installer.
i refer you to my above post.
as can be seen here.
there is this for example bm750-feed.conf and its a text file and an adress inside , but can o change the file namne and adress to a lokal place where i have my plugins that i use for example external hdd or a computer
kind regards
wherever you choose to host the ipk files, you will also need a Packages.gz file, created from the CONTROL files of each of the ipk's that are in the new feed, otherwise you can have thousands of files in your new feed server, but the receiver wont 'see' a single one of them
