Sorry if this post is in the wrong place.

I am running VIX 3.0 build 600. When I download Picons from the plugin’s it only allows me to save them to the HDD or inter flash and not USB, so I download them to the HDD and all is OK but slow as I need to wait for the disk to spin up.

So I moved them on to the USB flash disk, when I do this all of the Picons get scrambled so that they show up for the incorrect channel. I have tried copying them across via FTP, Removing the USB stick and putting it directly into laptop, browsing to network share and copping them across. But all of these methods have the same issues.

Any ideas?

Format usb as fat32

Mount as media/usb

Whats the name of the folder there in?

Mines are in picon and work fine. Make sure folder isnt named picons.

Moved to the correct section.
The location for picons should always be Ext3/4; best is to let the box format the stick.
When downloading from the feeds only Flash & Ext3/4 locations will show up as possible location. The reason is that only Ext3/4 support symlinks.
