Noticed a few people use a USB stick for Timeshift and/or EPG data,
Apart from letting the hard drive sleep, what benefits are there?, what sticks do you use as a lot are poor at 4k read/write.
I use a Hitachi cinemastar PVR 1tb drive, which is designed for this kind of stuff, all PVR's such as VM HD, Tivo and Sly HD just use the hard drive and have no issues with this config.
Interested to hear experiences.
