Hi
Having issues with my vu duo.
Recorded a few programs and sometimes when there playing it jumps around 5 seconds ahead. When i rewind it freezes then jumps to where it was before.
Never had this issue before.
Anything i can do to sort the problem?

What exact image and build version ? we need as much info as possible in order to be able to help.

3.1.1 is not a ViX image Designation but refers to the Linux kernel, the correct format would be ViX 3.0-478 I know it's ViX 3.0 as none of the previous ViX images have reached such High Build Numbers. Try updating to a more upto date build as were currently on Build 600 with the impending release of 601 or higher.

Make a settings backup.
Blue button> ViX> backup manager.
Then go to www.openvix.co.uk and download the latest image from there. You can manually flash the receiver and use the settings backup to restore your settings etc.

Not unless you format the HDD in the process.
