using wifi adaptor

Hi, had my box a while and just thinking about going wireless but since i diddnt buy the option at the time of purchase, how easy is it to add? Looking on the website it looks like a normal us stick? Think i have one already but just a normall pc one, would it work or do i need the special one. btw its a xp1000
