can duo be set up to record at all times like virgin v box.

I have been on virgins cable and the v+ box. If i was watching a program and missed something i could just rewind. I think that the box was set up to record always by default. does anyone know if it is possible to do this for the duo. thanks.

I think you need to go into your setup and enable permanent timeshift in whatever image you are using.

As beagooner says... This is the same as the sky+ box also. There is the permanent timeshift plugin, which allows you to rewind live tv, and also save a program you were just watching... You will either need to install this plugin to the image you are using, or if using the VIX image, set this plugin to be activated from within the timeshift menu... (of course, this requires you have either a usb stick or hdd in your box to record to)
