Hello! I purchased Ferguson Ariva 202e 4 days ago, as it has good review from What Satellite magazine.
I'm watching channels from 2 satellites Hot Bird and Sirius. I have a switch - Port 1 for Hot Bird and Port 2 for Sirius. It was a problem connecting receiver to 2 LNB's , I lost 2 hours to connect it.
As it wont to receive channels from Sirius . Hot Bird is OK. When I'm switching receiver to Sirius channels the screen is black and message is NO SIGNAL. Sometimes I should wait 3-5min when channels become
available. Technomate works without problems with this 2 satellites. I need a help with this issue. Thank you.

Incompatibe DISEqC switch i would say. What brand is it?

If its only a 2 sat switch i always use Global Invacom ones, never had a problem. I've had that issue with cheaper switches in the past.

Hi! I don't know exactly with switch I have , as I bought it 5-6 years ago. But haven't problem with Technomate.
Signal on Sirius channels drops from 84% to 46% than comes back again to 84%. ?

Some DISEqC switches work fine with one receiver and not with another, its just the way it is.

Get a decent one, like a Global Invacom or a Fracarro one, don't bother with the Golden Interstar ones, they are crap.

Told you so :D

Don't know what it is, some boxes work fine with one brand of DISEqC switch and other won't. I've always used Global Invacom ones and have never had an issue.
