Been a long time since I played with my Vu+ Duo, so sorry if this is an obvious question? I have searched around for answers, but I just seem to get more confused.

I have updated the Bootloader and installed the image 3.0.204 successfully. My fixed IP is set and I can access the box with Filezilla, but now how to get a basic version of Oscam installed?
I have read someting about an ipk, but what is that I don't know.

Before you get oscam, I'd update to a much newer version, build 204 is ancient now. Vast improvements have been made since that build.

I've installed Vix 3.0.589 ok and now found Enigma 2 oscam plug-in version 1.20.7456 mip32sel.ipk. Would this be what I need to copy with Fillezilla to my tmp folder of the box?
