Dolby Digital option

I understand the Vu Duo/Ultimo supports Dolby digital audio, however when going through the Audio options on my onkyo amp it only gives PCM 2.0 as input.

Does anyone know why this is?

Hi,
if it shows PCM then you have enabled downmix or your on an audio track with MPEG2.

With disabled downmix you get bitstream DD if available. Did you know that DD 2.0 (even DD 1.0 exists:-)) really exists? You have to select a channel which has DD 5.1 to check it.

You have to select a channel which has DD 5.1 to check it.
I think the BBC HD channels have this, and you need to select the correct sound track.
