View Full Version : [GiGaBlue QUAD] openvix-3.0.587-gbquad dvbt does not work
I installed now openvix-3.0.587-gbquad, where the info is the new kernel 3.5.1
But I realized that the dvb-t does not work.
charging channels comes the warning "tuning failed", by scanning channel is not found
My dvb-t (Italy)
This is a problem with the new kernel?

I'm having the same issue:(
Same thing here in Finland with newest openaaf.
the same problem openhdf gbquad-439-20130128_usb
could be linked to the new kernel 3.5.1?
It's either the new kernel or driver.
please email gigabblue as only they can fix.

Better not to upgrade if dtt is not working?
I use both sat and dtt on my GB HD Quad, no one has the DTT tuners working with the new release?
for now I tried Openvix, hdf with new kernel 3.5.1
user @tentu tried aff image, this is also not working dvbt
Openvix, HDF, AFF do not work
has anyone tried Openmips?
I have Openmips image installed with kernel 3.5.1 and terrestrial TV is working no problem
Edit: I just took today's update and terrestrial is not working anymore

is the same with 3.0.589 image? I've seen the new release on the same day, but I think that bugfix has to be made from gigablue...
It must be exact to fix gigablue.
But the question is: Can you release a new kernel with a bug like this?
Not exist betatesters?:confused::confused::confused:
This is not an image fault, GB need to fix it, very likely its a driver issue which they should get on top of quickly.
Any one affected needs to email GB

I, and many others, have reported this to GB. There are some detailed reports of the issue on GB forum. They are very aware of it.
