Hi,

I just updated my quad from the menu. Everything went as normal. Booted back up and my internal hdd is not mounted anymore?

I just flashed it with the latest available build on here 574 and the hard drive is back mounted. But the kernel is 2.6.37 now. So I selected software update but it comes back no updates available. Should the new kernel driver not come up ?

Yes it should..

have you enabled downloads to be done in the menu`s.. ??

Do you mean in settings>system>software update?

I tried reverting back to the old settings with a backup(a backup made just before I downloaded update from the menu) and then I updated again and the same. The HDD is monuted until I restart the box. Then straight away timeshift not possible pops up and the hardrive is not mounted.

If I go back to an old image the HDD mounts.

Updated to new 599 got this error don't know if it is Quad only...

Collected errors:
* check_data_file_clashes: Package enigma2-fonts wants to install file /usr/share/fonts/tuxtxt.ttf
But that file is already provided by package * libtuxtxt32bpp0

I have the same update issue as shizik on build 599 on TM TWIN. It says there's one more update but nothing under view changes and when you so select it and the unit restarts it still shows another update. It's like a loop.

Yes... same with build 600 the file that fails is because 1 font is in conflict with other package...

The file that doesn't upgrade is:
enigma2-fonts - 2010.11.14-r81 - 2010.11.14-r82

So what you did is to read the forum, see the solution and try it :)

No I didn't... I was going to do force but wanted to confirm that was the right fix and not just a bug with the package.

For people lost like I was:

opkg install enigma2-fonts --force-overwrite

I've just updated my gbquad and my wifi is gone. My wifi adapter is tp-link wn7200 which has a rai3070 chipset. I'm now trying installing several kernel modules from the menu but did not help. Any suggestions? Which package is responsible for this usb wifi problem.

Updated to 600. Now the HDD is working fine, but now if I have an encrypted channel recording I can only watch an FTA.

Could this be some setting I have messed up?

I've tried reflashing from usb and installing a backup and still having the same problem, does this suggest a hardware problem ?

Anyone else having problems with picture quality? DVB-C's are fragmented when ever fast moving items on the screen. I have tried every format 1080p, 1080i, 720p,720i etc. Same problem with all of them. This problem came with the 600 build, my previous 558 was fine.

Not sure, but in case of problems flashing without restoring any settings should be the first choice to see if any problems are persistent.

Nope didnt fix it

so, what's your current issue? few different ones taken up in this thread taking the OP off topic.
What build are you currently using (and please don't say latest) - Menu -> Information -> About, what format is your HDD, any other relevant info?

If I am recording an Encrypted channel, I can only watch an other FTA channnel. I can't record two encrypted either.

Build is 600. ext 4 r/w is the format.

Hi,

Solved, change CCcam to CCCam 2.3 version and now OK

I think is problem of new Kernel or last updates because all images have this problem with CCcam 2.2.1 (and older i think but only try 2.2.1).

I hope this can help you too anfieldoreilly
