View Full Version : What remote?
Thinking of getting a universal type remote, any suggestions
i use the Logitech harmony range.
Got a 650 and a 600 and they both work very well.
Anther for harmony, colour buttons worknas well.
keep an eye on the harmony site for blemished box remotes...
The 700 I bought came in at less than 1/2 price & perfect, nothing wrong with the box either.

I have Oneforall urc7960. Works on Vu Duo, PS3 (needs a separate dongle), dvd, AMP, tv and dvdo edge. Took a little configuring but works very well.
I will be sending it off this week to be programmed for the Quad. A little hassle sending it away (pay just postage as upgrade is free) but for 20 euro it is a cheap working alternative - quite robust too - kid friendly.

Harmony 600, 650, 700 and 900 are pretty good.
Stay away from the 300's, the One, the new Touch and the 1000/1100.
Worth noting that Logitech are dropping Harmony remotes...

Would be nice to add some info and especially how straight this tip is.
Seems I can get a 650 for 'about' 50euros, can anyine confirm they work on the GB Quad?
EDIT :D I have found a 700 for 54euro inc postage
Couldn't find the link for blemished box stuff yesterday...
