VU duo help please

Is it possible to record one station and watch another ? Thought there maybe some think in the setup that could be changed

Two tuners means you can tune to two transponders.
So all there is on those two transponders can be recorded and or watched.

The thing is I run a 1.8mt dish for 28e only
Plus I run a 1.2 motorized dish for all the euro sats
so Two tuners are in use so if i watch ITV and set the duo to record C5 ITV goes off when recording starts

I presume the motorised dish is also set to 28e? That would give you optimum freedom.

The problem is the 1.2mt dish isn’t big enough to get a signal for 28e thus the 1.8m

OK, clear.
But at the same time that limits your options: if the 28.2 tuner is recording, you can only watch 28.2 channels that are on the same transponder.

If I were you, I would put a twin-LNB in the 28.2 dish, and connect it to both tuners. In addition the motor can be connected to one of the tuners, using a switch.
