View Full Version : [VU+ Solo] VU Solo keeps crashing & no EPG refresh

Hi, I have a VU Solo box which is crashing every time I try to do a scan or Zap a program or try to go into the satellite menu.
Also the EPG does not refresh, so I cant see the programs lists.
Some channels are not coming on, get a message on screen (SID not found in PAT)

I have a USB stick in the box.
I am a dummy when it comes to satellite boxes,

Please help.

What image & version are you using?
Menu -> Information -> about

Sounds like you will need to do a fresh flash of the box.

2.3 is pretty old & no longer supported.
Download the latest version from http://openvix.co.uk
Lots of flashing guides on the forums, do a search.

The box using a USB stick. As I said, so a forum search for flash tutorial or something similar.

Ok I managed to reflash, to POD HD+ 2.0.2, I am only getting the freeview channels, not the paid channels, the Hypercam status is RUNNING, also still no EPG, please advise.
