HDD and USB-stick dont work after firmware upgrade

updated this week via box as it said a update was there

now on 3.0 569

hard drive and usb stick dont work!!!!

if i press record something called vps asked me to say yes or no, it never did this for the last year, when i click yes it crashes

if i press file list or playlist blank on the list

when i go to mounts, it shows my hard drive and usb stick, but does have any info for size as well as says unavailable? mount none

if i ftp to hdd, says

Command: RETR hdd
Response: 550 Failed to open file.
Error: Critical file transfer error

what plugins had you installed before the update?
maybe try a fresh flash without a settings restore

i could try that

only thing i have installed is the bbc i player add on and ice films,
my crossepg does even pick up my usb stick now

every thing to save is internal flash only?

Secondly: you say 'something like VPS....': 'VPS' is a plugin, so you'd better de-install that when not needed.

regardless of your mood this forum tries for a friendly atmosphere and abbreviated or not that type of language is neither appreciated nor wanted here.

you can clearly see that i updated the thread last night with the changelog for build 569 which at the time of posting was the most current public image available, also if you look in the about> info screen on your box you can read the full changelog for the updates before you even hit the update button.

so again i really dont understand that comment as we go out of our way and far beyond that of other teams to keep our users informed of changes made to the image.
