Vu + solo 2 ram and cpu

Hi,

I have purchased a VU+ solo 2 and i am very happy with this new receiver. Can someone please advise where i can view the dual core processor and the 1gb ram?

Because about memory in total i am only viewing 571836 kb and not 1GB, can someone please also advise why I am viewing only 571836kb?



The vu + solo 2 came with blackhole installation.

571836 kb is available, the rest is reserved by the system :)
Common question for many boxes :) (I even asked the same question myself not so long ago)

Look at /var/log/messages :)

In the case of my Quad I see

gbquad user.info kernel: Memory: 572508k/1048576k available (4794k kernel code, 476068k reserved, 1061k data, 196k init, 0k highmem)

I took a screenshot both of the memory and cpu information in the blackhole software.

the information says 571836 kb as total memory. And suppose it must have 1gb ram DDR3.

From where I can identify that the box have 2 cpu cores please?

You also want to measure the HP's of your new car?

But if you really want to: just make a bootlog.

Might depend on the hardware but for the Solo2 I couldn't find any relevant info in there.

Telnet in and type cat /proc/cpuinfo
