Internal harddisk

I have Vu+Solo2 and have an internal harddisk 3/5" but I think that the Receiver can only take 2.5".
Is this correct pl?

I believe that is correct, its about the same size as a quad and that is only 2,5

Does anyone know what size 2.5" hdd? They come in different thickness, I think 9.5, 12.5 and 15.5 mm.
I really want to get a 1.5 tb but they are only available in 12.5 as far as im aware.

You can use them all: there's plenty of space.

I want to switch my internal hard drive form the 384GB to a 1,5 GB hard drive. Does anyone know a good way to do the switch and copy the information from the old one to the new? I would really love to keep all the recordings from the old one to the new.

You could get a caddy and than use a linux command to copy it across
