Completely new here

Hi! I have got new tuner GigaBlue HD Quad and was looking for place where owners of this toy are gathering. Seems that in this forum I can get some info.
SAT TV is my hobby. I like hardware things (antennas, wires, LNBs, positioners, actuators), but also software is necessary to fix sometimes. Before GigaBlue I used only dreamboxes, and still have some of them. I am from Latvia.

Hi and welcome :thumbsup: The quad is a great box, you made the right choice ;)
And VIX really is the BEST image for the Quad (and many other makes too!!!!)

thanks Marty. Just installed openmips-2.0-gbquad-20130117_usb . Will play little bit with it and next in list will be VIX :)

I used mips for a while before VIX was released, there is no way I will ever go back to mips now :D
Anyway reguardless of what image you use have fun :thumbsup: and if you have ANY questions we have a section of the forum just for the Quad :cool:
