telnet issues

when i connect to telnet using control center it logs in but then iam unable to type anything,i tryed putty and iam unable to put username,tryed windows telnet turned echo on and still same carnt do anything.
So i restarted telnet on my box still not working is they a setting iam missing or maybee a file i need to edit to enable commands on telnet?or maybee reinstall telnet on the box

I can now connect through my laptop i donno why i carnt connect through my main pc but nvm least i can connect now :)
