View Full Version : [VU+ Duo] Cant disable trashcan on my duo (Vix Latest Build)

Hey guys

I have an original duo running the latest build of Vix

Im 'Recording settings' I have 'use trashcan in movielist' set to 'no'

However, when i delete a recording from /media/hdd/movie directory it still goes into the trashcan and I must delete it from there.

How can i fix it so that when I delete it from my recordings list, its permanantly gone?

works here, asks if you really want to delete, what build you on ?

Why would you not want to use the trashcan? It has only advantages.

In trash can, can you set it to delete afters set length of time?

yes, default is 8 days, it also has a mimimum space limit you can set, so if your HDD reaches that it starts emptying trash (oldest file first) till space is reached.

hey guys, just seen the replies

i am on the latest build of vix

still the same, if i delete a recording from movielist, it just goes into trashcan , even though i have "use trashcan in movielist" set to "no"

Hi I'm having problems with the trash can when I delete recorded programs it says cannot move to trash can can someone help me out please?

What image name and build number please?

This was worked on and should be fine in Apollo.
