View Full Version : VU+ UNO Chipset?
I have new Uno and am have installed the latest Vix image. I have noticed that under Information/About screen it is showing the Chipset as; ''BCM 7405 (with 3D)".
The chipset in the VU+ Uno should be BCM 7413 (according to product specifcation literature). Is this reading correct? As I have the latest Uno should this not show chipset as BCM 7413.
Thats just a Typo, thanks for pointing it out we will correct it in a future build.
Just checked on the ultimo, and it's the same on there...

No problems though, as pheonix says, is just a typo ;)

Nope, it's not a typo: it's what the drivers report.
And: BCM7405+3d+PiP equals BCM7413

Thanks, so this mean all chipsets in Uno/Ultimo are infact BCM 7405 (with added 3D & PIP). Why do they mention bcm 7413 in product specification literature. I am not a tech person but does configurated BCM7405+3d+PiP have the exactly same features as bcm 7413.

It is the 7413 chip just chatagorised a little differently by Vu. Its the same thing though so nothing to worry about.

When you make a bootlog you see the chipset advertising itself as 7413.
