installing lastest image

Hi Guys

the online update is not working keeps saying try later so im going to carry out a new flash but when i try to its not seeing the usb stick unless i take out the usb hardrive, so my question is, once the box as flashed to the newest updateand comes to the setup screen, can i then plug in the usb hardrive so i can use my settings backup ? or should i let the box boot till it gets to the setup screen then turn it off, reconnect the drive and then go thru the setup once the drives back online.

your likely on a old image with the ocram picon feeds still pointing towards the dropbox, we now host these our selves.
