Try via a telnet session instead with the following command.

init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 3

Update

The telnet command works on my box but not on 3 of my mates boxes who are all running the same release so its local to the release and not the feeds.

Looks like a local network issue.

Edit: as this is apparently about ViX I'll move this to the correct section.

Thanks for the help, I'm connected to it over the Tinterweb so I know the network is ok and it's the same issue with multiple boxes on the same release. What else could it be.

well, this package does not exist. strange that the package resides in dropbox.

I only have remote access and they are in Spain so a reflash is not on the cards, is there any other way I can upgrade it.

I have exactly the same problem. It has been for several weeks now. It is nothing wrong with my network.

The suggestion in post 13 did not help. I replaced the orcam-feed.conf in the folder opkg inside the etc folder, correct?

Anyone have other solutions? I rather not reflash. I think it is really time consuming getting everything and all settings back to the ones I use.
