Viewing card how to Configure complete EPG

Hi please forgive me as I’m a newbie, I have read the CrossEPG sticky and have got the EPG for all 28.2E FTA channels I have placed my viewing card in but and unable to work out how to receive the EPG for all other channels, I looked for some other posts but haven’t found anything to guide me any help or pointers would be very welcome
Ps running Vix & CrossEPG 0.6.2

What sources have you set for EPG?
If you are getting more than now/next on the FTA channels, the others should be populating too.

Hi I had a hunt around but can’t find sources would you be able to advice if I’m in the correct place
Main Menu > Setup > System > EPG > CrossEPG-0.6.2

Yes, correct place.
Then for SKY UK/Ireland go into OpenTV providers & select Astra2 on 28.2, then yellow to download.

I had the following already ticked Hotbird 13E, Astra 2 28.2E Astra 2 28.4E I still re- downloaded to find the EPG listing for the viewing card channels still missing until I select that channel then only the current and next programs for that channel are displayed, Would you have any other ideas to obtain a greater EPG maybe 24 hours and a way that the EPG can be populated before selecting the channel

Try turning off Astra 2 28.4E.

What you had been doing should have worked fine though.
Do you need the 3 sources you had selected?
Telnet into the box & issue

init 4
This will stop enigma from running.
Then delete your epg.dat file before issuing

init 3
Once enigma kicks in again, do a fresh download of Astra 2 28.2E only & report back.




EDIT: ah, see you got it sorted while I typed my reply, glad it's now working.

Would be nice to have EPG for 3 sources of 28.2E 19.2E & 13E but not essential
Hotbird 13.2E is listed under OpenTV providers but not ticked however 19.2E is not listed
