Will one of these work and any advice on which one is the best.

VU+ DUO is in the lounge and router is the opposite side of the room connected by cat5 cable trailing across the room and er indoors is complaining about it.

Ideally what i want do is move the router back upstairs where the pc is and send the wireless signal to the bridge and ethernet to the Duo

Thanks

Yes, if it's not to far. I used a Linksys wireless bridge earlier, but I changed to Homeplugs because they're even more stable....

I've got this one, works perfect with a WIFI N router: -

If you've got a WIFI G router get one of these (I used to have one of these too, worked perfect too): -

I used a TP-Link wifi bridge before and had nothing but trouble with it. Replaced with Homeplugs and haven't had a problem since.

The Vonets VAP11G may be worth looking at.

I use the TP LINK wifi dongle downstairs on my vu box with vti image and no problems what so ever & use the Vones VAP11G upstairs on a dm500 also without any problems tp links is cheaper option @ £5- and the Vonets is £20 - both do exactly same thing but if your image dont support wlan then obviously it would be the vonets

I have tried to connect this but no luck followed the setup guide but lost my sons laptop wireless signal for couple of hours.

SETUP:

PC upstairs with edimax usb adapter .

TWO acer laptops wireless

Downstairs:

SKY DG834GT connected to phoneline master, cable to Duo

Configured edimax on pc ok but no signal when put into Duo and lost wireless useage on laptops

Anyone successfully set one of these units up
