Does he want single or dual feed?
TM2T is a cracking box if he just want's to watch/record live TV using 2 tuners, probably a bit over budget though.
Lots of users love the GigaBlue range, MaxDigital also seem to be a good option for cheaper boxes.
An original VU Solo will also come in for that budget.

he just need a single tuner.

Actually Vu+Solo is close to 300€, not 200€.

Original VU solo delivered in Ireland should be about €200, are you mixing it up for a Solo2?
I have a solo on one of the for sale threads,

Not bothered about selling it, but if he wants it, it's there for €150 collected.

Hi MarsArtis,

I bought a VU Solo from the sponsor recently for £179, without the £5 discount (doh! my bad).
Any way, delivered to Ireland for a total 243euro.
Hope this helps!!!

If interested, reply on that thread.

For a new box, under 200 euro I'd go with the link Mr. Mister provided.

Also consider the MaxDigital XP1000 http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Digital-Satellite-Receivers/MaxDigital-Linux-HD-Receivers

Has excellent image support.

I was really thinking about those two receivers. But I did not mention either because I wanted a free suggestion.
A short comparison by you developers would be appreciated.
