vfd display template permanent?

what file is it again for the VFD dispay and whats the location to make it permanent (i mean so does not get overwritten with updates)

i hate the red and update flashing all the time

be aware that it will get overwritten on image update though.

after a ftp search, is the file to make it permeant not skin_default in usr/share/engima2 ?

i dont want to have to do this after every update

Correct: you have to create it.

ah that solves that riddle, so do i use the skin_default.xml or skin.xml from /usr/share/enigma2
