View Full Version : [VU+ Ultimo] A small glitch with recent updates - netatalk upgrade

Since flashing build 521 via USB I encounter the following small glitch on one of my ultimos:

After subsequent online updates (which seem to go without any problems or errors) the green/red update light symbol immediately begins to flash again. If I run an online update again it tells me there is one package to be installed. If I try to view the changes both the OE and E2 logs are empty.

Here are the results of an update attempt via telnet and it seems the problem is that it is wanting to upgrade netatalk to a later version but that the newer version is not available in the downloads:

This machine is currently on build 552. My other receivers have not displayed this behaviour but they are all still on build 521.

Am I right in thinking that netatalk is to do with Appletalk? The only thing that comes to mind is that I am using Airplayer plugin but I am running the same version on all receivers.

Is there another fix I could try for this other than reflash to latest version?

Thanks chaps.

netatalk 3.0.1 was removed as it contained mount issues. try reflash with latest image to downgrade again to 2.2.3

Thanks for the reply Andy.

A reflash seems to have done the trick and all back to normal again :)

Cheers
