What a nice skin. I guess it won't work in anything other than SIF?

i have not tried it to be honest but sif is based on the OE-Alliance so technically it should work on any other OE-A based image such as ViX, although it may need adapting for those other images.

Didn't work in BP image. I did install SIF afterwards and this is the default skin. However, it's quite slow in operation. There's around a second delay between pressing a button and a menu/screen being rendered. I guess it would be acceptable on a Solo2 but not on the Uno after having used other much speedier skins.

BP is not a OE-A based image, so it would likely need considerable modification in order to work on BP.

And don't ask BH team to make it work, as with all Daconi's work it is based on Army skins of which he continues to rip off.

well thats another argument for another time and place, although i still dont understand how a Skinner can claim a copywrite over a skin for a supposedly open source platform.

We could say the same about many plugins emu's which are closed but used on open source platforms.

But as already stated its a debate for another day and probably not on the open board. :D

I am talking about the templates and not the graphics, it is well know that Army helped Daconi in his early skinning days.

Personally I think the solo2 and Duo2 can handle it no problem but the old solo and Duo suffer.

I think you will only see a difference if you have a very good TV, personally I find it hard to see any real difference with my eyesight.
At best I can see a slight improvement with the icons.

Yes Vu+ Uno is a bit slower, but only slightly.
It's good to compare with Black Hole image. MX_HC and MX_HD skins are similar, MX_HC is 32bit. Both skins are made by Matrix10

DUO2 isn't out yet ;)
Just tried it on my GB Quad but it doesn't work (doesn't start after E2 reboot)


EDIT: Had to reflash after testing, couldn't even access the box via telnet

There is no need what so ever to spam the thread with such a post, a simple this is not working would have sufficed. plus you have not even said which image you have tried it on !!.
