Play DVD on pc and view on tv through VU+ DUO?

Happy new year all.

I am wondering if it is possible to play DVD's on my pc and view them on my tv through my VU+ DUO box.

I have a network share setup and i can play my movie files great from my pc to my tv through my box and i am hoping it is possible to do the same.

Easiest thing to do, would be to either share the dvd drive through samba, and then browse to the share. This should then be able to read the dvd, or rip it to an iso (or extract the dvd to share folder...)

Hi!

I shared the DVD drive on my PC, and mounted (cifs) the location to it on my VU+ Ultimo. I got one DVD playing and viewed on my TV via the VU+ just fine, but for most of the DVD's I just get a black screen when playing the content. Can this have something to do with some encryption on the DVD or something similar? I all cases I can see the content/files of the DVD from the VU+, but I get only black screen when playing.
Anyone got the DVD playing from PC working ok?
