Hi All,

just done an on line update to vix image 3 build 539 but i cannot seem to get the ipk file for the enigma 2 cccam plugin to install.

The question is do i need to install this (on an earlier image i followed: menu>setup>vix>install local extentions) plugin to get the cccam to work. If yes how do i, if no where do i FTP the .cfg file?

thanks a million guys and happy new year to all.

No need to reinstall anything, if it was there before the OLU? than it will still be there OLU only updates system files and other files you downloaded from the server only.

Where did you source the .ipk file from ?

Try one of these here

FTP it to /tmp on the receiver or /var/volatile/tmp ( there both the same location ) then look in the local extension installer as you have described and install from there.

Hi Matey, when i press blue button i get the following pop up menu:

PLEASE CHOOSE AN EXTENSION:
1) CCcam info
2) 1channel
3) CrossEPG downloader
4) VLC video player
5) Web media

as you can see no vix option again to be able to install ipk file?

are you sure you are using VIX?
If so, what's the build number?

OK guy's thanks for all your help but i got fed up and did a complete re flash via usb to ver 544 and hey presto the vix ooption is back.

i suppose it will have to remain a mystery as to why i couldn't see the vix menu from the automatic update.... oh well
