as title says i dont have one yet ,but hopefully soon,anyway whats the best set up for me ???,i have a motorised dish with single lnb ,nothing fancy, so am looking for ideas on how to set it up,now the hdd is it sata ?is it 3.5 ???

Yes its takes a 3.5" SATA HDD. For a first time user I'd recommend latest OpenPLi image

Standard sata drive....one in ...boot up and flash the box... initialise the hard drive and bobs your uncle: :)

is it best to change the lnb?how easy is that to do?whats the best type to go for?

Changing the lnb shouldnt be an issue.

I have the Inverto twin output lnb...would be dependent on your setup as to what you are after.

I have a MegaSat 0.1dB twin output - I have no idea if it's any good yet - I bought it coz it looked pretty LOL

ok i bought triax quad in the end my mate has a sat shop so got a little bit off ,not much mind you
