Hello guys,

I have just installed for the first time the VIX image and I need some help: I cannot stream the channels to my PC using Webcontrol as I used previously with other images. I selected the port 80 and tried everything I could think of but with no result. I can connect to the box, but when I lunch Webcontrol I got this error message:
Request failed for: /web-data/tpl/default/tplBouquetsAndServices.htm
Status: 405 Method Not Allowed

Any help???

Cheers!

I believe vix has openWebif built in, just type you're box IP address into address bar of PC and it should open up in console.

I'm not clued up on Web control as I've never used it.... You don't need it on vix to stream to PC.

As I said in post 2 you only need to enter IP of box in to address bar of PC and that should open openwebif console.

all that does is open my itunes and nothing happens... the only way i get it working is using showtime player

That's because you have itunes set up as you're default player on you're PC.

Use vlc player for the stream.

If you click the stream button and it doesn't open VLC then VLC is NOT your default player for .m3u files.

If you are using Windows 7 follow this...
