HDD standby

posted earlier thinking that fan was still on in standby, but seems to be the HDD not going into standby
Using Dream Elite image and have set standby time in settings?

Any ideas

With the de image, you can change the hdd standby time from both the blue button menu, and the menu -> settings iirc. Have you changed in both?!

Also setting for HDD acoustic set at 128???????????????
Is this suppose to make the HDD quieter?

changing acoustic settings will make it quieter(but I think only when it is doing someothing, not idleing) but also a bit slower.
