I have put the VIX image on my TM-2T now it will not respond to the remote or any of the front buttons.I have tried a new image but it will not go in,is there anything else I could do possibly through the 232 port? regards waltwal

Have to pressed STB button top right of the remote?

Yes I have done that with no effect on the stb it will not respond to any of the front buttons either.many thanks for propt reply, regards waltwal

Do the following: -

Re-flash the bootloader http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=Bootloaders/TM-2T/

Once complete, power off. Then power on repeatedly pressing exit on front panel for 30 seconds.

Power off.

Flashed latest ViX image 521 http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=TM-2T/

Thanks for the assistance I have now got the box working OK but could not get the vix in it but did manage with a 4D image this I cannot understand I will have another try on another day

You need to put the folder called Update on the USB and power down and off from the rocker switch at the back and than remove any other USB devices you have connected, stick the image uSB in and power on - flashed mine yesterday and it updated fine.

Did you delete the existing "update" folder on the flash drive?
