Was inside my technomate 600 having a look at the internal drive set up, and came across this, its on the inlet power side of the box, and was wondering whats it for, anybody got any idea ?? Cheers !!

The white molex plug?

Thats to power an internal HDD.

the internal usb is for usb drives, the molex (white) connector is for bare hdd drives like those u r using inside ur pc

Yes but if you used a 3.5" in the cradle you need the molex power supply connected to the drive. To use a IDE HDD in the TM600 you need a IDE to USB adapter.
