Things started to get wrong with 'No space left on device' when trying to record something.
Logged in with ssh, and searched for the offending file(s).
Turned out the file /var/lib/opkg/lists/openvix-mips32el was 1.5G, while the system's memory is only 128M big !?
Removing the file, and running
# init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade
fixed the rest.
After reboot, all channels were gone. Scanning....
According to the last log file, I was running ViX 3.0.0
this post serves as a reminder to myself, if anything similar would happen in the future, and for others with the same issue
