CIFS with shared folder

Hi,

I'm trying to setup CIFS to bo able to record to a shared folder on my computer.
Windows 7 Ultimate, connected to same network ofcourse. Using Vix v.3 with Et 9200.

When i do a network search from my box i can find my computer, but when i expand it the shared
folder is not showing.

I tried to install samba but couldn't get it to run, is it needed to find the shared folder?
also do i have to install the nfs pluging to get cifs working?!

When you try to expand, do you see any shares? I find that some of mine don't expand and I have to set up the mount point manually.

No, I only have 1 shared folder. Also tried to setup manually, but the hdd icon has a red cross over it, so there is something wrong...
