View Full Version : Unable to reflash after plugin issue

Hi,

I'm running build 405, and had problems the other day with the 1Channel plugin and uninstalled a couple of plugins (Autobouquet, and the Webcam one, forget the name) as I was out of memory.
I noticed the upgrade light flashing orange instead of green, and any attempt to upgrade via the menu tells me that the background update check is running and come back later.

After doing a bit of reading, I decided to reflash as countless times over the past 2.5 years.

The USB upgrade (I tried 473, and in desperation 445 too) does nothing for me at all, the box just boots up normally.

I copied in the online upgrade error message, as well as the "df" from the terminal, which leads me to think the flash is full, but i don't have crossepg in etc/enigma2 as Andy had suggested to someone else.

The good thing is that the box is still working more or less ok despite all of this.

Any ideas please?

Cheers
Clanc

Not sure what you are asking here?
The 1Channel plugin has always been problematic when a feed to a movie/show has been removed, so maybe that's it?

Hi,

I'm familiar with on/off issues with 1Channel depending on the link quality. My problem right now is that while the box is functioning, I can neither upgrade online nor reflash beyond where I currently am at.
Also, I'm having regular enough freeze ups, spinning VIX symbols, crashes, so I want to do a clean reflash to sort this out.

Would a factory reset be the way to go?

A factory reset does not re flash the box. I think.

The only thing a factory reset does is deleting the settings file.

I found the problem after a lot of digging - the usb key at the back was still plugged in and once I removed, I was able to reflash
