VU+ Solo remote fault

Has anyone had a problem with their VU+ Solo remote where you press a key, 'right' for instance, and it works, but then it won't work again until another button is pressed.

Very frustrating!

Never had this issue.
What image are you using? tried new batteries?
Assume it's an original remote?

Bought it from here just over a month ago with vti on it. Want to try vix but couldn't get it working. Remote is weird for instance if I press and hold <down button> on epg it scrolls through no problem but press the same button twice and no response second time. Particularly frustrating when trying to exit the menu system. Might reflash today.

also never had this issue with my solo. would strongly recommend changing the batteries. if not try reflash but have suspicion may just be shoddy batteries.

only had my solo a few weeks but had this same problem and finally remote would do nothing
Cured it by pointing at box and holding down stb button as if setting up a telly or DVD on a multi remote
Has worked prefect since
