Folks I currently have an old @5yrs at this stage its an Apollo 6x24" tube set up bought via a powerbuy on avforums.com many moons ago, RGB L.E.D setup behind my TV but while it is colourchanging and adaptive, it doesn't give a true atmolight effect as it is controlled via a remote.

I am considering buying a KarateLight control unit and running Boblight to give a true atmolight effect.
However, as far as I can ascertain the connections for the KarateLight control unit to the LED tubes are of the MOLEX type?
While the connections currently on my L.E.D tubes are USB.
Would this be as simple a fix as cutting the USB connectors off and wiring to MOLEX?
Any advice or input will be appreciated.

Thanks Rob,I've been looking at his site already.
The controller will do the job definitely, but I am wondering if I will be able to use my existing L.E.D tubes which have a USB plug at their termination.
just to add this is the type of tube I currently have

I'm hoping that its just a case of cutting off the USB from my current tubes and rewiring to Molex, but I suppose the best way to ascertain if it is doable this way is to disconnect 1 of the USB terminations from my current tube and check the wiring.
I was hoping someone here had done similar and could give me a headsup as to if it is possible before I start.
