Change in image scaler settings since latest vix update?

Anyone else noticed a change in the scaler sharpness settings since the latest vix update? Had it turned all down but now it seems it needs to be in the middle for HD and even more I think for sd.

I've never adjusted mine but just had a look and it was all the way down.

For HD the scaler has no influence; it's only for the scaler (from SD to HD).
My advise: turn it down completely. But I know there are also people using it full up, taking artefacts for granted.
